English Conversation Class

English Conversation Class is a chance for women to come and practise speaking English with native English speakers. You can meet new people and make friends.  It's also a chance to learn about Jesus and Christianity, because each week we hear a short story from the Bible during the class. English Conversation Class happens during our Community Cafe, so there's plenty of cake, tea and coffee - all included in the £1 entry fee.

While the conversation class is intended for women, we'd love to welcome men looking to practise their English to our Community Cafe, which runs at the same time as the conversation class.  You'll receive a friendly welcome and can practise English with native speakers.

Where? Newton Hall Community Centre

Who? Women looking to practise and improve their English.

When? Thursdays, 11:30am-12:30pm in school term time

How much? £1 per session - no need to book
